It is really easy to DIY your own cotton masks
You may refer to our previous instructions

[DIY Packs] Cotton Face Mask (with details instructions, size, sewing patterns)

You just need to prepare a needle, threads and time.
For a beginner, most of you can finish within 1 hour ^^

You can put in filters inside or put in the surgical mask.
It is washable and re-usable.
Please note that Cotton Face Mask is only a substitute for the surgical mask. If you are going to a high-risk area such as hospital, you are advised to wear a proper surgical mask.

2. 20cm x 30cm bottom gauze or cotton

Recently it is really difficult to buy a "surgical mask" in the market due to Corona Virus.
In order to help people to get their own mask, Camille has prepared a set of details instructions, size, sewing patterns to who would like DIY their own cotton face mask.

It is pretty easy if you have our "DIY packs".
You just need to prepare a needle, threads and time.
For a beginner, most of you can finish within 1 hour ^^

You can put in filters inside or put in a surgical mask.
It is washable and re-usable.
Please note that Cotton Face Mask is only a substitute for the surgical mask. If you are going to a high-risk area such as hospital, you are advised to wear a proper surgical mask.

Here is our completed product:-

Preparation

2 nos. of Surface (Cotton)
2 nos. of Bottom (Double layer gauze)
2 nos of elastic bands

Details Procedure

Step 1

If you have our DIY packs, you will receive the followings:-

1. 20cm x 30cm surface cotton
2. 20cm x 30cm bottom gauze
3. rubber band x 2

Cut 2 pieces of the surface cotton and bottom guaze as per the pattern.

Patterns can be download in the following links:-

For Aduit (A4 size)
For Kids (A4 size)

Steps 2

Sew the surface cotton as per red line
and the same for bottom gauze

The pattern has already allows 1 cm edge for sewing.

Step 3

Sew up the surface and bottom as per red line and yellow line

Step 4

Put the elastic band on both sides and sew up as per the red line
Do not sew the bottom gauze and you will need an opening to insert filter / surgical mask

Step 5

Tie a knot for the elastic band and adjust the length in order to fit your face
Finished^^

You can put in a filter and surgical mask with the opening on both sides.
